iRobot Roomba 694"

The Roomba by iRobot is an entry level robot vacuum that works well on both floors that are unfinished and floor carpets with a low pile. It has good suction and cleans up most debris, though it struggles with bigger debris such as rice or sand. It also does a good job of cleaning pet hair, but it's not resistant to tangling like the premium Roomba models, such as the j7 or I6.
The Roomba is easy to use. It features three buttons on the top cover. "Clean," which initiates a cleaning session and 'Dock' that places it in its charging station and the 'Spot' button, which triggers a targeted cleaning. You can control it via a smartphone application that allows you to schedule cycles, stop and start the cycle and change settings. You can also pair the device with smart home devices like Alexa or Google Assistant to control it via voice.
This vacuum is slower than other models, but it's still able to get into the most crevices and corners. It comes with a large dust bin, which is great for reducing the frequency which you must empty it. It is compatible with digital mapping and virtual barriers which allows you to make the robot avoid certain areas, or even stop cleaning completely to stop it from becoming stuck.
It's not the most effective in its price, but it's superior to other models. The Roborock E4 has a better cleaning performance than the Roomba 694, and it can clean both low-pile and bare carpets. It also has the most efficient cleaning method and has a longer battery life. It is also more durable, has fewer components that require regular maintenance, costs less over its lifetime and charges faster than 694.
It is also worth considering other models in the iRobot range, such as the v7 or 981. The v7 and 981 are more expensive, but they have significant improvements in cleaning performance, both on bare and low pile floors. They also have a bigger dirt compartment and charge faster, move more easily and are easier to pair up with smart home devices.
Shark RV1001AE IQ
This budget self-emptying robot vacuum cleaner does a great job on carpets with a low pile and hard floors. The combination brush is able to reach corners and edges, and it automatically increases suction when it senses carpet. It is also effective at cleaning dirt and debris that are embedded in carpets that are mid-pile. The IQ has a tiny footprint and a self-emptying function. If you wish to alter the floor's levels or define zones that aren't allowed, you'll have to manually reset the map.
The IQ app comes with advanced mapping and automated features, however it isn't equipped with no-go zones. These are available only on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective, although it can get caught in the tassels of the rug.
During our tests during our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpets where it struggled to reach dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering the legs of chairs and tight spaces, as well as the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. It was a little slower on flooring that was not fully covered however, it was able to recover speed and performed better than other robots we evaluated.
The IQ is a better choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dust bin and lasts longer on charge and is more capable of getting over obstacles. It has mopping tools that are able to remove sticky debris. The iRobot is, however, is better built, has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement and has lower ongoing costs, and can even create virtual no go zones with its companion application. It can continue cleaning from where it left off, even if the battery runs out before it's finished. The iRobot is also controlled by voice commands, which is a big plus for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S robotic vacuum isn't among the most advanced models, but it offers powerful cleaning power at affordable prices. This vacuum was designed for consumers with a tight budget who do not require a complicated mapping system, or even an application to control it. The robot is capable of running for more than an hour and comes with a remote, cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base, and additional filters.
The 11S is slim and sleek, with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic and is made to look like brushed aluminum. It's a nice change from the industrial and utilitarian designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
In our tests, the eufy 11S was very effective in removing large particles and fine dust on hard flooring. It struggled to deep clean carpets with high and medium piles. The device also has a tendency to smack into furniture and people in its path, but it's able to detect obstacles with sensors. When it comes across them, it stops and lets out a loud beep so you can manually steer it through the obstacle before getting it back to work.
Another great feature of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode, which allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match the type of floor and level of dirt. The remote control makes it easy to direct the 11S to your desired place.
Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the space you want to vacuum. The eufy will spend up to 30 minutes cleaning the area it is assigned.
Edge Cleaning is another option that limits the time spent on each surface to 20 minutes. This will extend battery life. If you select this option the eufy moves in a spiral pattern taking care of edges and corners for an efficient clean.
